The evening of the 5th of November marked a prestigious cause for celebration at the Westin Hotel in Dubai, for the most prominent members of the construction industry in the region.

Contractors, consultants, engineers, architects and the industry' suppliers were witnesses to the announcement of the award winners of several categories. This year the Construction Awards included a new category - the GAIA award for products that prove to reduce the impact on the environment. Amongst hundreds of applications for this very highly regard award were Tiger Profiles & Insulation LLC, exclusive distributors to the Middle East, Asia and Africa of SolaCoat and Solasteel.

The gold award was ceremoniously presented by Mr. Simon Mellor, Vice President of DMG International to Mr. Bernard Nasr, Executive Director of Tiger Profiles & Insulation LLC, who was accompanied by the Managing Director of CoolShield International, the Australian manufacturers of the award winning product. The gold winning product, SolaSteel, is a heat reflecting paint hat is applied on to metal coils before they are manufactured into profiles and panels for the cladding industry.

Two silver awards also went to Tiger Profiles & Insulation LLC for their exclusively distributed SolaCoat heat reflecting coating and the SolaCoat Pavement heat reflecting and anti-slippery coating.
