The evening of the 5th of November marked a prestigious cause for celebration at the Westin Hotel in Dubai, for the most prominent members of the Construction Industry in the region. Contractors, consultants, engineers, architects and the industry’ suppliers were witnesses to the announcement of the award winners of several categories. This year the Construction Awards included a new category – the GAIA Award for products that prove to reduce the negative impact on the environment. Amongst hundreds of applications for this very highly regarded award were Tiger Profiles & Insulation LLC, Exclusive Distributors to the Middle East, Asia and Africa of SolaCoat and SolaSteel.

The Gold Award was presented by Simon Mellor, Vice President, DMG International to Bernard Nasr, Executive Director, Tiger Profiles & Insulation LLC, who was accompanied by Les Crampton, Managing Director, CoolShield International, the Australian manufacturers of the award winning product. The Gold winning product, SolaSteel, is a heat reflecting paint that is applied on to metal coils before they are manufactured into profiles and panels for the cladding industry.

Two Silver awards also went to Tiger Profiles & Insulation LLC for the SolaCoat heat reflective coating and the SolaCoat heat reflective and non slipwaterproof pavement coating.
